1921 Stationery of 15 cs franked with a pair of 5 cs from Mesina sent to Pecs in Baranja with the rare Serbian military oval censor "SERBIAN ROYAL MILITARY CENSOR IN PECJ". In that period, Baranja belonged to the self-proclaimed republic of SERBIA - HUNGARIAN REPUBLIC OF BARANJA - BAJA. The only known example of arrival and censorship in this short-lived republic within the Kingdom of SHS. VF

1921. SRPSKO - MA?ARSKA REPUBLIKA BARANJA - BAJA : Pismo upuæeno iz Baje 4.VIII OSLOBO?ENO POŠTARINE za Vršac. Polazni žig je dvojezièni æirilicom i latinicom žigovi Kraljevine SHS. Ova teritorija je voljom gra?ana želela da ostane izvan Ma?arske a u okviru Kraljevije SHS kao zasebna SRPSKO MA?ARSKA BARANJSKO -BAJSKA REPUBLIKA proglašena 14. avgusta 1921, za predsednika je izglasan poznati srpski slikar Petar Dobroviæ. Uticajem velikih sila ova republika je rasformirana i pripala je Ma?arskoj teritoriji. Za vreme republike bile su u upotrebi marke i pošta kraljevine SHS (Jugoslavije). Ovo je do sada treæe poznato pismo, upuæeno iz ove republike sa odgovarajuæom žigom. Jedinstvena prilika za sakupljaèa tradicionalne i poštanske istorije Jugoslavije. Istorisko pismo u odliènom kvalitetu.
1921 SERBIAN-HUNGARIAN REPUBLIC OF BARANJA - BAJA: Letter sent from Baja on 4. VIII with FREE OF FRANKING for Vršac in Vojvodina. The departure cancels is bilingual Cyrillic and Latin marks of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes. By the will of the citizens, this territory remains outside Hungary, and within the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, as the separate SERBIAN-HUNGARIAN BARANJA-BAJA REPUBLIC, proclaimed on August 14, 1921, the famous Serbian painter Petar Dobroviæ was elected president. Under the influence of great powers, this republic was disbanded and belonged to the Hungarian territory. During the republic, stamps and post offices of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes (Yugoslavia) were in use. This is the third letter known so far, sent from this republic. Opportunity for a collector of the traditional and postal history of Yugoslavia. Historical letter, very fine.
